How the process work

Sign up with AeroServe with your basic information.  Log in and you will be able to review your dashboard and account settings. 

Designate AeroServe as your agent with the FAA through the USAS.faa.gov website

You are now compliant with  14 CFR 3.303. AeroServe will receive all of your official FAA correspondence and forward it to you by your the method of choice as well as upload to your secure dashboard. 

  • Why has the FAA started requiring a U.S. Agent for Service for individuals and entities with a foreign address
    On October 8th, 2024, the FAA issued new regulations mandating that all FAA certificate holders with a foreign address must appoint a U.S. Agent for Service of Process beginning on July 7, 2025 This applies to pilots, aircraft owners, and other aviation businesses. The purpose of 14 CFR 3.303 is to ensure that official communication, legal documentation, and important notifications are securely delivered, regardless of the recipient's overseas location, thereby maintaining compliance with FAA standards.
  • How will be notified?
    You have the option to be notified in multiple ways. Your agent will provide your options and notate your preferred method. You are notified with in 24 hours of arrival at our address via Email, Phone, Text, Social Media. International mailing of hard copies generally take 2-7 days.
  • Can I use the AeroServe U.S. Agent Service for purposes other than FAA compliance?
    Yes, the platinum plan will allow non FAA related written correspondence to be accepted on your behalf at your address provided it is addressed to C/O-AeroServe.
  • What am I paying for?
    AeroServe acts as your official FAA U.S. Agent for Service, meaning we receive FAA legal notices, compliance communications, and official correspondence on your behalf. Once a document is received from the FAA, we immediately scan and forward it to you via email and add it to your your secure online dashboard.This ensures that you never miss an important FAA notice, even if you're based outside the U.S. and continue to maintain compliance with 14 CFR 3.303 Additionally, we offer physical mail forwarding for important items, translation service, FAA legal services and FAA assistance and guidance.
  • Can I still use my FAA certificate if I don't have an agent of service?
    No, as a foreign pilot, you cannot exercise the privileges of your certificate if you do not have a U.S. agent for service, as this is a requirement for foreign-based certificate holders, and failure to comply by the deadline can result in being grounded.The FAA requires these pilots to designate a U.S. agent for service to ensure they can receive official documents, with a hard deadline for compliance being July 7, 2025, for existing certificate holders.
  • Can I use one agent for service for multiple certificates or multiple aircraft registrations ?
    Yes, we provide U.S. Agent for Service solutions individual certificate holders and organizations. Your single account is valid for all of your certificates or registrations.
  • How do I cancel if I no longer need the service?
    Cancellation is simple and straight forward. Simply contact your agent via email and the process will be completed the same day. Take into consideration that if you cancel your service you will also need to make the change at the USAS web site. Your agent can assist you with that process as well.
  • Do I change my address on my application ?
    No you do not need to change your address on your application. Box E1 of an airman application should indicate your home address. Box E2 of an airman application should indicate an alternate mailing address that you may have outside the United States. This field is optional and should not be used for the agent address. The designation of the agent is made at the USAS.gov website.
